We offer affordable services for a variety of neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions, with 1-on-1 customized physical therapy in-clinic or telehealth therapy via our secure Zoom platform.

We will help you build a team of providers in your area to provide holistic care and communicate directly with them to leave no stone unturned in the possibilities of recovery.

INTENSITY MATTERS WITH STROKE REHAB. I feel like the missing piece to gait training or upper extremity retraining is appropriate intensity to drive positive adaptations.
During this session we focused on more joint isolation combined with isometric grip control in trickier positions. This combined with @smarttoolsusa BFR cuffs led to a great session and I can't wait to see how it carries over.

Training intensity matters! Bands and seated exercises have a time and place but the best gains are from correctly prescribed, challenging, multi-joint exercises. We use our squat rack daily in a predominantly neurologic setting and see great results.

Most of my dizzy clients go to multiple other providers and suffer for months, sometimes even years, before they find me (a vestibular therapy specialist!). When in reality, PTs are a great first line of attack for vestibular disorders and can catch things or refer you out to the appropriate person. We are trained in the correct maneuvers for BPPV (yes- there’s more than just the Epley!) and can get you started on a customized treatment plan for your symptoms. 💫🌈 You don’t always need to start with your PCP or ENT.

Boxing is excellent for stress management, upper and lower body coordination, reaction time training, cardiovascular endurance, and adds a cognitive challenge of choosing which punches or defense to throw!

While VOR/gaze stabilization training (if you know you know!) ❌ has its place in vestibular rehab, I see a lot of clients who get frustrated in PT because those are the only exercises they are given…and they don’t improve.

That’s why a GOOD vestibular program will incorporate dynamic and static movements, real-world application, stress management, symptom tracking… the list goes on and on.

Some of my clients go home with the “homework” to literally scroll on their phone, load the dishwasher, or walk outside in a structured, graded approach. It’s not all X’s!

There are too many people on the internet who bash certain exercises because they "aren't functional". These people are also usually trying to sell you their own product as an alternative. If an exercise helps you feel better, get stronger, or achieve movement during the day that sounds very functional and you should continue to do that. We need to stop optimizing with overly specific exercises when we should just be encouraging a more active lifestyle.

This is one of our most common pieces of advice. There are a lot of factors that affect healing, pain, dizziness, and other body functions. Some of them you can't control: weather, traffic, other people, time. We encourage our clients to prioritize what they can control: intention of activities, resting when needed, your mental response when things flare up. By taking control of the modifiable variables, you will greatly improve your rehab outcomes!

Sudden change in balance or coordination
Vision loss, blurry or double vision
Facial drooping or numbness on one side
Weakness or numbness in one arm
Slurred speech or unable to speak
